Range Practices & Competitions
The sport of target shooting is one of the most inclusive sports open to people of all ages and is not prohibitive for people with disabilities or varying levels of fitness. Shooting is a sport that builds focus, discipline, attention-to-detail and is suited to everyone from people looking to have a bit of fun through to those that are competitive. Over a million people participate in sports/target shooting in Australia every year.
Asset Firearm and Crossbow Club’s Range Practices and Competitions are an opportunity for members and visitors to come along and participate in this great sport. We have access to several ranges around Queensland and regularly schedule these events.
Our Range Practices and Competitions include:
- Handgun Target Shooting
- Rifle Target Shooting
- Shotgun Clay Target Shooting
- Crossbow Target Shooting
Not all types of firearms can be used on all ranges. Bookings are preferred however if you are happy to wait you can come along anytime we have a range practice or competition scheduled.
Range Practices and Competitions with handguns can count towards your mandatory participation requirements to apply for and/or keep your Category H Concealable Licence.
